ABOUT

About

“Yoga is a journey of self discovery, a way of life that awakens us to our truest self”

Welcome! I’m a Certified Yoga Instructor (E-RYT-500) who has been practicing and studying the ancient healing art of Yoga for the past 24 years. In 2003 I achieved my certification from Sandra Sammartino, a gifted Yoga master from BC.  I also hold certifications in Prenatal Yoga, Kids Yoga and Trauma-Informed Yoga.  I recently became a Canadian Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, I am currently offering my 200 hr Yoga Immersive Studies - Teacher Trainer Program

Yoga is a way of life, a system of healing that unifies mind, body and spirit.  Yoga  uncovers the place within of pure joy and peace.  I'm inspired to teach Yoga from the heart, to share what I’m most passionate about and what has helped me the most. The style of Yoga I instruct is gentle to the body, with emphasis on the breath and overall awareness.  Connecting to the present moment, the body relaxes, the mind becomes calm, and prana (energy) is activated to allow deep healing for the whole body.

Yoga is mind-body-energy medicine that enriches every aspect of our being. I infuse the sister science of Yoga, Ayurveda, into my daily life for health & healing. I'm looking forward to developing my abilities as a trained Reiki energy healer (Reiki Level II certified).  My purpose is to assist others in finding optimal health, healing and enlightenment!

I strongly believe that Yoga can be accessible for anyone!  My desire is to share Yoga with all ages, abilities, and walks of life, and I currently offer classes from birth and beyond.
