Class Description
Module 1.3 Pranayama (15 hours) • traditional pranayama practices that bring balance and harmony to our mind-body-spirit • accessible and simple breathing practices to enhance your daily life and your personal yoga practice • theory and practice of different breathing techniques to calm and steady the mind, regulate the nervous system, or energize and awaken • the powerful effect breathing has on all levels of the body, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually • coordinating the breath with posture and movement • understanding of prana and the physiology of subtle energies • anatomical systems involved in and affected by the breath
